Both Aidan and Luke began with objectives that we hoped to accomplish in order to demonstrate to others the advantages of exercising and meal planning. Building schedules and learning new things to make for the upcoming week proved to be difficult at first. We prepared meals for the first six weeks, but we also worked out, without recording our results until weeks seven through twelve. We reasoned that it would be beneficial to demonstrate the differences between simply meal planning and exercising, and then reaching a higher level of fitness after those six weeks.

Early on, we both encountered some difficulties achieving our goals, which is fortunate because it allowed us to grow from them, adjust, and demonstrate that such endeavors aren't always easy. We became better at planning our meals and determining the kinds of calorie intakes required to meet our primary objectives. Luke and Aidan both struggled with weight balance or scheduling. Fitting exercise into his daily routine proved to be challenging for Aidan. Luke struggled to put on the weight he wanted to gain from the beginning of the genius hour. We ultimately succeeded in achieving some but not all of our objectives.
